3. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you use DrapeMax. We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. This may include your email address, name, company name, account role, account status, hashed password, authentication tokens, session records, and account settings.
- User content. When you use the preview tool, you may provide room photos, selected fabric images or fabric image URLs, fabric names, window treatment styles, sub-styles, project notes, design instructions, and other content needed to create a visualization.
- Generated content. The service may create AI-generated preview images based on your selected room photo, fabric, style, and instructions.
- Usage and quota records. We may record generation attempts, timestamps, selected style, selected fabric name, optional notes, success or failure status, quota usage, account credits, ledger entries, and recharge or payment history associated with your account.
- Device and technical data. We may collect IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, device type, operating system, app version, browser type, request headers, log data, error reports, and similar technical information.
- Cookies and similar data. We use session cookies for login, security, and account access. For guest trials, we may use cookies and IP-based records to count free trial usage within a limited period.
- Support communications. If you contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company, order or account details, messages, screenshots, attachments, and any other information you choose to provide.
- Newsletter and marketing information. If you subscribe to a newsletter, join a mailing list, request product updates, submit a form, or opt in to business communications, we may collect your email address, phone number, consent status, subscription preferences, form submissions, unsubscribe activity, and related engagement information.
- SMS consent and communication data. If you provide a phone number or opt in to SMS communications, we may collect your phone number, consent records, message history, opt-out status, and related support or order communication details.
- Billing and business records. If you purchase account credits, sample materials, or related services, we may keep records such as purchase amount, credits added, transaction notes, invoice details, and support history. We do not intentionally store full payment card numbers in the DrapeMax app.
4. Camera and Photo Access
On iOS, DrapeMax may request access to your camera or selected photos only when you choose to upload or capture a room image for a preview. The app does not need access to your full photo library to operate. You control photo and camera permissions through iOS settings.
Please do not upload images that contain sensitive personal information, private documents, or images you do not have permission to use.
5. How We Use Information
We use information for the following purposes:

6. AI Processing and Uploaded Images
DrapeMax uses AI image processing to create realistic window covering previews. To provide this feature, we may send your room photo, selected fabric image, fabric name, selected style, project notes, and related prompt information to AI service providers, including OpenAI, and to hosting or infrastructure providers that help process the request.
We use this information to provide the requested preview, operate the service, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and improve the DrapeMax workflow. We do not sell your room photos or generated previews. We do not use your uploaded room photos to train our own foundation models.
AI service providers may process or temporarily retain submitted content as necessary to provide the service, maintain security, detect abuse, comply with law, or meet their contractual commitments. AI-generated previews are estimates and may not perfectly represent final product measurements, color, light, material behavior, installation conditions, or manufacturing results.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, security, remembering account state, and limiting guest trial usage. We may also use cookies, pixels, tags, and analytics tools to understand website traffic, form performance, newsletter activity, and general service usage. These technologies help us keep users logged in, prevent abuse, operate the service reliably, and improve our websites and communications.
